The Pittsburgh Pirates are members of the MLB’s National League Central division along with Chicago, St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Cincinnati. The team is often referred to as the “Bucks” or “Buccos.” All home games are played at PNC Park. The team first joined the NL in 1887 during its eighth season, they also played at the inaugural World Series and won their first World Series title in 1909.
