The Bundesliga is also called the “Federal League” in English. It is Germany’s professional soccer league and also happens to be one with the highest stadium attendance internationally. The Bundesliga comprises of a whopping eighteen teams. The league’s soccer season runs from August to May, with the majority of games played on Sundays and Saturdays, while a couple of low profile games are played on weekdays. All participating clubs can qualify for the DFB-Pokal, with the winner of the league qualifying for DFL Supercup. Since its founding in 1962, in Dortmund, a total of 54 clubs have competed in the League with FC Bayern Munich winning it the most with 26 titles. It also happens to be the top ranked soccer league, and in 2nd in Europe.

Watching Bundesliga matches in the United States can be a bit of a challenge particularly as it’s only aired by Fox Sports 1&2, with a couple of games broadcast by ESPN. However, Fox Sports broadcasts games from the entire season along with highlights and live commentary.

Also, because both services don’t require a long-term commitment Bundesliga fans can opt to only renew their subscription through out the soccer season.

Official Network Streaming Apps for Bundesliga Matches
The Bundesliga does not yet have an official app. Though we did come across a few third-party apps for iOS and Android devices, but those merely rely on your cable subscription. Even then we didn’t find any that worked in the US except for the Fox Sports’ Go app which requires logging-in with your cable credentials.
